Um. The scene is more alive over there then it is over here, in fact, there was a major DODS LAN held a few weeks ago. Even at it's lowest point, at around the release of COD4 and a few months after, the scene was more competitive than our own. Even now many old players and teams are coming back.

I foresee this league failing for two reasons. One, Euros already have Clan Base, ESL, and (I believe) Enemy Down to compete in. And two, the reason a few Euros are playing in CAL is to play against us, not because their scene is dying.

And it would be stupid for any South Americans to play in this league since they'd get even worse pings.

well im euro and ive been here in the good and bad times since cod4 was released. I believe the eu scene is at its biggest with alot of older teams / players returning. Nation Cup coming up. LANs well theres quite a few. France has like 2-3 lans a year Belgium has Reddevils and Denmark is having lan in Febuary. So the eu scene is at its best imo. And no the Eu players dont come over here cuz the scene is dieing or something like that. But just to come over and piss of the whiners over here. :) yes i didnt type winners but whiners. :) other than that it sounds good.

I have to say one thing. Yesterday I played mi first CAL match vs american ppl and I was impressed. No one started to whine on dods chat, calling us unhittables or lamers because we were killing a lot in their respawn and nobody trying to cap the last flag.
I don't know if that happens always or just that team was unbelievable polite.

We got leagues and cups to play vs other euros, I think we only want to play here because the handicap of lag. Trying to kill with kar or garand with 150ms is funny and play vs different people and teams, in differents time zone. Play at 3.00 am is pretty funy and my voice is very sexy whispering on vent :P
