Its fine for MG to enjoy their win, its an upset in the sense of the difference between these two teams' experience in the game. It seems like people are overreacting but then ive never dealt with them much in the past so if the reaction is due to swollen egos or something then whatevs. From the look of it MG should be decent this season, most of the old talent is either lacking motivation to play seriously or already gone from the game so there is a large void to be filled.

On a different note, MNM is awesome and if they actually scrimmed it would have been a different and interesting story - take it from me (I have actually played against them when they have fielded a full team of starters who scrim). They bounced around invite on and off over the past few seasons when they decided to play for good reason. Not that they really wanted me to calm things down I think they were just getting warmed up on this thread (if you had not noticed it by now MG, they love this kind of thing so yeah...)

I think the only thing MG, er.. I mean you, DementeD, has to prove each week is that you aren't actually some flaming moron. There's nothing left in this game to 'prove' if that's what you're after. After season 5 or maybe 6, winning the division has meant less than the prior season. Most of the upper teams these days don't really wish to play the game outside matches and maybe a sole scrim a week (hell, it can often be tedious and time consuming to even find a worthwhile scrim, especially with the release of l4d, to even attempt to find one). The skill level between last season of CAL-O and this season of CAL-M isn't all too far off; people are losing care each season.

Anyways, don't come in here thinking you guys pulled some magical 'upset' against MNM. Any team from Invite last season could tell you they simply did not care and only play DoD:S with matches (well, except Tony who would still put a considerable number of hours in every so often - don't deny it, Tony :p) to fool around, talk trash, laugh on vent about the players on the other team, and perhaps win if your team was bad enough. All you guys did was.. prove you aren't a bad team, so to that you can be congratulated.

P.S. good game, legion. would have been more fun if we had our actual heavies (wedo & birdy) for the only match that was worth playing this season until the finals, but was fun nonetheless. I should have pecked some health from Rebirth first half to make him easier to kill so that I'd be the only with a positive score both halves :x
