Playing a game for 10 hours isn't stamina, its foolish, unhealthy and just shows your willpower to continue. Stamina is, as many people in the world view, the ability to endure a sustained physical stress.

Your definition does have a flaw. It has been proven in numerous studies the amount of strain one can put their body through just by visual simulation can equal to some workouts. Again you are putting a very narrow view of what are sports and what those definition state as evidence. Just because you don't physically run or jump doesn't mean something isn't a sport. At the same time, just because you make money doesn't make it a sport.

As for your statement about 10 hours playing. You sir have learned that fact. Now if you could teach the other 9 million wow players this one you might get somewhere in proving that point.

Video Gaming as a sport for healthy exercise, it is not (unless you play the WII for 10 plus hours, thats a workout). Is poker or dog racing? Both put the word " Sport" into its name. That doesn't mean it should get sport status but yet it does. So lets continue this round and round debate what a sport is or isn't. Maybe the definition is truly right but again I don't know much as you seem to have pointed out with your wonderful internet search engine, the NET knows all and is never wrong.

FYI Drunk, I didn't give the definition of a sport, I gave it of an athlete as Josh noted (thank you josh). It could be argued that gaming is some form of sport, but is cannot be argued that it takes an athlete to compete in gaming or that individuals involved in online gaming are in any way, shape, or form to be considered athletes solely due to their participation in gaming.

I've driven a Nascar, I did 10 laps at Lowes Motor Speedway, and it was one of the most strenuous and adrenalin pumping experiences of my life. I was physically exhausted and I'm in good shape. If you think Nascar is driving you're moms Taurus in a circle, you're sadly mistaken.
