Ok guys, here it is, the long-awaited Rails FOTW.

Now, there were many, many problems while doing this, which is what took so long. My first set of clips from dods were corrupted and I had to start over, and the audio was still fucked up. I had to create audio in several places.

Also, there are a few things I want to fix - but since this took two hours to render and one hour to upload, I will re-upload it tomorrow and update the link for you guys. One person doesnt have an intro. That will be fixed tomorrow

pros:
-i liked the way you introduced every player
-also the team logo by the name was a nice feature
-brings back memories from old TP fotws.

cons:
-even though metallica was a good choice, it didnt blend with the frags.
-frags were decent, only impressing ones were shortbus.
-bigdaddy didnt make it, im not pleased, i ticked his demos too :(
-the last song sounded depressing, and killed the ending.(well for me)

other than that, you did an pretty good job, i bet the next one you will make will be better.

-Out of 6 different frag ticks, none of mine were picked. =(
-For the length, it could have had some better frags, or possibly shorter ones where we didn't see the people waiting..waiting..then kill.
-Intro was kinda goofy. Too many weird shots of random doorways and unimportant areas.

Overall- 6/10

I asked for invite cilps. I got two. I used one. I looked at yours, and yes, while that is much more difficult to do in invite than in open, I didnt use it. It took a while. I also didnt use vipers 15-kill streak. Even in open thats hard.

Next time I do something like that I will use less clips & less people. I wanted to include as many people as I could - that meant you. But as I was hitting the 7 minute mark of the vid, I realized that I coudlnt include all the clips I wanted, so I left a bunch out. Call it a rookie mistake (Or Rookie's mistake for letting me do it)

Not getting into the FOTW is not a reason to stop submitting. A little while back I released a vid of me sniping in season 6. ALmost all of those clips were submitted to the FOTW. None of them made it in. In most cases, I could watch the FOTW and say "Wow, my <xxx> clip is way better than that". And yeah, It happens some time. Maybe its not what the moviemaker was looking for, maybe they missed it, maybe they forgot about it, etc... suck it up, and tick again next week. It takes like 10 minutes to do - and can turn out real well.

I play because I still enjoy the game. All the kids sitting on the sidelines trolling forums and IRC, calling all of us playing (especially those of us in Invite) bad and saying things like "lol if i still played id be teh bestest player in the game your awful mediocre sniper lol" are just trying to bait you into an e-fight. The point is they're NOT playing anymore, so the whole discussion is moot.

i liked the vid. it was nice, although it could have been better. the music wasn't the greatest choice, but to each his own. I appreciate chad for doing it because w/o him it wouldn't have been done in the first place. so thank you chad.

i just got around to watching this and wow, i'm so glad i did. this is probably the most creatively awesome frag video i've ever seen.

music was different than most dod videos these days, i was going to give you a B+ for that (i like the music but it's not my favorite, definately better than the other crap we frag to nowadays tho and ballsy to put it in) but you slipped in syd barrett at the end and made it work just as well as you made the first song work...
