They use the ESEA account database.
If you have a ESEA account all you need to do is login on the Lanfest2K7 page HERE (http://www.newegg.com/lanfest2k7/) with that info. Once you are logged in, It should take you to the "Ticket Selection" page (If it doesn't just click the link "Register to Compete") once there you just need to do as it says. You select your ticket then join/create your team , etc..
If you do NOT have an ESEA account, Then go HERE (http://www.esportsea.com/?s=upanel&d=register) fill in the details and make an account (A free one should be fine). Once you have your account made and verified (Not sure if it sends an e-mail to verify like most do, it will tell you if it does), Go back to the Lanfest2K7 page HERE (http://www.newegg.com/lanfest2k7/) and sign up and do the same as I said above.-Day of Defeat: Source Information-

The DOD:s Tournament is an "Official" Tournament so you will use their comp for the matches. But if you wish to scrim before you will have to do BYOC + Tournament. As far as a FPS config, There will be no need for one as their computers are extremely good.

The Rooms, I am not really sure. I know when you go to book you can select between 1 king size or 2 double beds. If you visit their site you will see the Tour button you can problaly check that and see how big the rooms are and what they look like.

some/most of the pbf seems like it was from the CAL page. the anzio-over-the-wall-grenade is the exact wording from the CAL rules page. since they are probably using the CAL rules as the basis for the rules, they might be inclined to remove flash from the rotation as it is not used in competitive play, and possibly allow ventrilo. could someone possibly get in contact with the tournament admins and voice the competitive community's issues?

please be optimistic. if you and your team show up, you will still have fun playing on LAN even with a few minor inconviniences. this is the biggest opportunity this game has seen and you will have to be willing to give some slack if you're expecting to get any.
