I found my HL disk. I went and downloaded Steam. Found out someone stole my HL CD key. Now i find out that i need to buy DoD in order to play. Although i did hear that i can play DoD despite the facts. Does anyone in here play this DoD in which i speak of ? I guess im gonna go buy DoD:S tomorrow, but i still want to know whats up. Where would i get this version of DoD that is free, and how do you play, via WON.net or Steam ? Any sites i can go to ? Sorry ive been out of the loop for awhile. Thank You.

both dod and dods cost $9.99 via steam suck it up and buy them.

Ive got this really old version of dod that you do not need to register. However, its pretty useless cuz its only good for lans. If you wanted to play vs ppl online you would need to update & register as well as DL steam. Your pretty much stuck with having to buy dods.

If you still have your cd with the cd key on it you can send up a pic to valve proving you actually own dod then they can give it to you.

i found a version of 1.2 dod on CD, i know if i looked i could find all betas. Im pretty sure i saved them all.

im gonna go buy DoD today, not to mention half life 2: orange wang.
