Well i like using small crasshairs but when I make the crosshair smaller its gets so light where i can barely see it. i was wondering if there is a way to make it so the crosshair is brighter or sticks out more. thanks

change the colors. i make mine the smallest it can go, but like turquoise, so it sticks out.

@1280 x 1024, anything less than cl_crosshair_scale 9 is faded

well i was watching the SkullGaming dod:s video and there crosshairs were small yet bright. i am still wondering how they achieved this

skull mostly played before pure mode while they was able to use the cal approved xhairs. Pure mode just came around last season.

Excal, you can continue to use custom content for things like movie making. This is especially true for demos in which you will see whatever crosshair YOU use, not the crosshair that it was recorded with.

As for the movie having a brighter crosshair, what resolution is the movie recorded at? I think that having a lower resolution tends to make the crosshair larger and brighter for the same scale, but I could have that backwards.

you can't use a custom xhair for making a movie if the demo was recorded from a match using pure mode.
