how to make good quality video?

well i recorded me playing with FRAPS, but I only have Windows Movie Maker but whenever i try to save as movie the quality goes to hell. any ideas how to keep the quality? because when i recorded with FRAPS the quality is great.

the video i recorded with fraps has excellent quality. its when i try to use windows movie maker. i will try sony vegas but i don't really undertand how to use it just yet.
