Okay, its getting annoying now.
My smartFTP trial ran out and I needed to access the FTP for fragdods so I downloaded some free one and it installed some files that now pop advertisements every now and then. Anyone know what type of files I need to be looking for? I've ran spyware and it hasn't fixed the problem.

If your spyware isn't finding any cookies from the site popping up, don't worry yourself on it too much. Most web ads function so that even if your spyware removes the cookie, it will automatically re-plant the file each time you use the program. The only thing you should be worried about is a trojan, or the obvious, a virus. If you haven't yet, download Spybot S&D and AdAware. Run both of those and it SHOULD clear out your computer. I use both periodically, haven't had a problem in over 2 years on any computer I've owned.

the best anti everything i had was kaspersky. problem is their quite fond of tracking down fake cd keys, and so far i haven't found a torrent that has the righ keygen. but if you want to spend 40$ i think, its worth it.
because im poor, i went with spybot and adaware. works fine.
