Good game DJS. A bunch of rabid squirrels were chewing on my gonads while I was playing. It was very distracting.

It was fun playing you guys. Viper had some phenomenal shots. And Chad was a beast at Suze tree and back alley. Good luck in the playoffs gents.

I'm not going to post my screens, I'll let Syndicate Gaming post 'em. But it was a good game...this is just one of those maps where the best "camping" team wins...and they did just that and we couldn't get past the impenatrable defense...I thought after the first round that no one was going to cap a round....LOL

I'm not saying you're bad - but the map IS donner, and thats a stalemate map.

There could be teams that lose to them on lennon, salerno, or anzio by a larger margin that *may* have beaten epitome or would have beaten you.

You are right, it isn't a cap-out map per-sa. Still, I highly doubt most open teams could get so close to an invite team.

We have scrimmed your team and beat you, actually, on anzio. Furthermore, you played with Notik in a scrim against us, and you were I think 9-18 on allied half? We only lost that by 15 points as well.

So yes Chad, I do know how you guys play. I think you have an ego problem, you always seem to be insulting teams in a "nice" manner, teams that are better than yours.

Oh I just found the screenshot of the notik match, and you were actually 10-24 on allied. I guess I overestimated you! My bad.

GuruPot - I did terrible on that scrim. I went WORST than 9 - 18 on allies half. They made me run mid, and I couldnt figure out what to do. Thats not the point - i'll KTE.

My ego problem relates to people talking about shit they don't know, or making wild accusations.

And feel free to list the teams that i've insulted that are "better" than mine. I usually restrict that to stupid people, but I suppose if you say so it must be true.

Hey man, we've played some good teams and DJS was definitely one of them. Sounds like you had a really close match. We could have played better but we're still learning. We're certainly not the worst team in Open. And like you, we're sitting on the sidelines while DJS, D6 etc continue.

Good luck to all advancing teams. It was a fun season.

doesnt matter who you play. Play the MAP, not the team.. if you get all bent up over playing a FORMER invite team you will most certainly lose.

Guru did the best they could with the MAP and TEAM and for that they should be commended*golf clap*, but in all actuality here, now that Epitome is past Donner look for them to steamroll kids... especially in SF round on Salerno.

As far as well matched teams are concerned... the first round is always meh... no offense to anyone, look for this next round to heat up now that you see matches pitting teams of closer skill levels together like:
TCO V. Kspree
d6 V. 5sins
[e*] V. Syn
and my MOTW selection DJS V. LEAD

I have my favorites, and you all know who you are, but I can honestly say that [e*] and TCO have best chance to make finals IMHO.

GG to all open teams who advanced in the first round, and GG to all teams that managed playoff berths.

Um, I don't think anyone was really worried about TCO with epitome in open. Its not like anyone has a shot to win with you out now. Possibly a team gets to go one more round to get stomped, but thats all.

Don't forget Kttnz last season. They forfeited a match to protect their RPI (to get a high ranking) then didn't run ACS in playoffs. GG Andy and Fival.

I ususally would torment my team for 5 mins minimum during setup of each match and call them out individually until I got an acknowledgement for all 3. (Screens, Demos, ACS)

And now you see why captains have to do this...because if you don't, look what happens, you get removed from a "rightful" spot to the next round of the playoffs.

Sorry guys, but you can never be too careful...hell I try running my demo 3 times to make sure it's running....LOL
